I was born in Detroit in 1969. I re-created this iconic magazine mascot for my t-shirt. In 1969, CREEM was launched in Detroit as a raw, unfiltered, unapologetic music rag, and ushered in a new era of raucous, participatory journalism. Now we’re back to reclaim our mantle as America’s only rock ‘n’ roll magazine.
